Evidence levels

Evidence is a status, not a ranking

Every JEV case carries exactly one of these five levels. It says how a claim can be checked — not whether the case is good.

• Source checked — the original post was opened and is still reachable.
• Code available — a public repository exists for it.
• Creator reported — the claim comes from the author's own post; nobody reproduced it.
• Demo only — there is a demo, but no way to inspect the work.
• Not verified — we could not confirm it either way.

Entries currently marked creator reported and missing a source link are pending curation — the about page explains the policy and the date each entry is corrected is not published until the link is recorded.
